Useless

Unless you diet consists of just twenty foods. No way to add foods that you really eat (soup, anyone?). Lose It is much better and cheaper too. A waste of money.

Ms

I feel ripped off and misled. You cant enter foods youve eaten because the database is so tiny, and theres no option to manually add any thing. If you eat 2 slices of bread you can only list one. Poorly thought out. Doesnt work in real world.

Not good

I really thought I was going to get something useful but you cant use it the way you normally eat and drink. You are forced to choose items from a sparse list and theres nothing regarding deserts and beverages you may want to include. Wasted money on a useless app.

Over Price

I think this is a helpful and useful guideline for healthy eating and lose weight. As i go through the apps and felt its over price and i suggest developer could lower down the price instead of 3.99$. Anyway, keep the good work up :)

AWESOME APP

Today was my second time doing it and I have felt a change in me where I dont crave junk food. Enjoy and know you are worth it.

Good app

I just love it ! Not only do they continue to cater to their core audience but they continually innovate and add great features.

Good job.

Complete app that helps you set goals and plans for yourself, I must say this app helps me get in shape a lot easier, its easy to use and works great so far. Worth money spent.

Nice

I recommend that you do not miss out on this app. It gives me a magical feeling. I will never get bored of using the app. I got a well-balanced diet. It is my lucky.

good app

I think they should add more selection off food before making this app paid, i like the app but some of the food i eat isnt in here.. making the app not that useful. i look foward to the updates but right now, it shouldnt be worth 3.99

Not Vegetarian Friendly

Im this app is fine for the average user, but vegetarians beware, there are ZERO vegetarian options. They do NOT offer any vegetarian meat or dairy products, making the app something I wasted my money on.

Worth $5 , Nothing Else Like It (except new sister app)

Ive lost 6 lbs in my first week using intelli-Diet and Ive just started my second week. Its clearly worth the $5 I spent and I expect it will keep working well if I continue to do my part and stick with the app. It took me a while to figure out the differences in the "foods I have in kitchen now" area from the "foods I will eat" choices, since the graphic pages look so similar. After generating the automatic meal plan for the first week, I emailed myself the weekly meal plan and app generated grocery list. So far so good. But I did something - perhaps it was adding my new weight or changing a food on the "what I will eat" area - and inteli-Diet completely changed my meal plan for the week, giving me an entirely new one. I worked around it (like I said, I lost 6 pounds that first week) and Ive since become comfortable with rotating food options AFTER the meal plan for the week has been generated. Yes, there is a learning curve. And its true, the food choices are somewhat limited (there are no options for processed foods like Heinz Beans or ice cream), but it seems to work if I work the plan it provides. Keep in mind that 1) this little gem only costs $5, a fraction of what it would cost me to meet **one time** with a registered dietician and 2) as far a I can tell, theres only one other app out there thats anything like this app: the new SuperDiet Genius, from the same people who brought us intelli-Diet. Since intelli-Diet is a couple years older and is still supported and runs pretty smoothly, this may be the better option of the two ...... for now :). Good luck!

Disappointed

So the description says it will give you meal plans that use what you already have and give you a shopping list. What it really does is give you a list of food combinations that you already have and a shopping list of what you dont have. But the meal plans wont include what you dont have. I guess it would be ok for a quick throw together for what you have. But a meal plan SHOULD tell you what you need to buy to make it happen. Also these are not meals. An example of a linch it gave me is: Yogurt, soup, potato, seeds, oil, cherries, peas, celery. Thats a list if ingredients NOT A MEAL. Im going through the process to get a refund!!

Sounds great but very limited

I bought this app thinking it was such a great idea...it is VERY limited in your food choices. There isnt anywhere to track exercise...so I ask how does that encourage a healthy lifestyle?

What a great app

It creates a daily menu for you and you still can choose different meals if you dont like what they suggest or you can create a diet tailored just for you no matter what diet your on. It allows you to decide if you want to lose 1/2 up to 2 lbs per week and adjusts the menu accordingly. I think the interface design is nice and very user friendly. Im not sure if this app is priced right but I think you do get some nice features for what you buy.

A great diet app

I love the fact that it asks you what foods you like and what foods you dont like. I hate the texture of tofu, so I love that I can just say NO to it and it doesnt give me it as part of the meal plan! More importantly, I love how it just takes the foods I have in my kitchen and creates a well balanced diet out of it! I dont have to count calories and type everything I eat. Ive used lose it and calorie counter trackers and stop using them after 3-4 days because I hate having to type in every single thing I eat. Its not a sustainable way to lose weight - plus it really allows you to eat anything. I like that intelli-diet encourages me not only to eat fruits and veggies, but it also has a water tracker at the very top, so I dont lose sight of the importance of hydrating myself. I also like that all the foods are healthy so when I reach for pizza or cupcakes, I know that this really isnt part of a long term eating plan to eat healthy and lose weight. Sure, I can treat myself here and there, but those should be execeptions and not the rule! All and all, I think this is a great iPhone app and am really excited to see how many pounds I lose in the coming weeks!!!

Glitchy, needs an update for iOS 8

Also needs much love in area of meal planning. I thought it might put together some foods in recipes. Guess I expected too much. This is a very simple app, not worth the cost for my needs.

Good, but glitches exist

This is a good app, but it would be even better if you could change the meal reminder times. Every time I try, the whole app locks up. Ive tried re-installing it, but still no luck. Hopefully an update will come soon to fix this bug!
