Do not buy!!

Does give calorie count and no customer support. Refuse to give refund after several emails.

Retina

Retina!!! Its essential. Why is it not here for more then year?

Way too limited!!

I wish I never bought this app because it doesnt have most of the healthy foods I eat--so I cant even use it! If I was able to have more choices, Id give it a higher rating. However, if I could actually program it with "my" food choices--I might give it 5 stars. BUT since it gives me hardly any choices at all: 2 stars is a very high rating for me right now.

What happened?

I was enjoying this app a lot. I like lists and checking them off. I dont care for much variance. So having the same food choices over and over again does not bother me. Used this app the entire month of January 12 and lost 11.4 pounds. Entered my weight on 2-1-12 and then went back to my plan and no foods will list. It has the meal title listed, breakfast, lunch, snack, etc but no foods. What happened? I like the app, but would like it a lot better if it worked properly. Right now I am annoyed!!!!

Am I missing something??

I was really excited to start this app but have been nothing but disappointed. Maybe I do not understand how it works? Please help if you are having a positive experience and success. I prefer my free apps to this and am highly disappointed !

Seriously?

Waste of time and money. Wont let me remove any of the snacks. If 1/3 cup of corn, a 1/3 of an avocado, two slices of cheese and 6 baby carrots sounds like an appealing dinner to you, download this app.

Great !

application is very smart and easy to use. great!

Very useful**

This is one of the most expensive applications that I have ever bought!

Useful

Useful application,I dont know if it work really but I like it.I dont have problem with my weight but if someday I will have problems I will use it!

Simple but effective

Great app, very easy to set up and use.

great

App takes the foods you have, and then magically creates a well-balanced diet of whole, natural foods. i like it

Helps you stay on track - awesome!

Out of the hundreds of apps that Ive downloaded in the past 3 years that Ive owned an iPhone, Ive never felt compelled to write a review until now. Ive been using this app well over a week now and it has helped me stay on track as far as eating more healthy. With this app along with ease into 5k, Ive lost 3 pounds in a week!! Gone are the days of calorie counting :)

Great

A fantastic way to keep heathy with good reminders! But I found some problems: 1. I dont eat a lot for lunch but I dont know how to get rid of one food bar 2. There is some food they dont have, let us add food for ourself. 3. I cant reset/refresh the drink bar:( Fix plz:)

Very limited

Too many products missing. Eg.: soy milk Too inflexible in choosing quantities. Email option is primitive.

Needs macro choices

Needs better customization for low carb, ketogenic and intermittent fasting diets. A lot of people cycle carbs when they workout and cycle fat on off days. Only giving lean meat and free options isnt for everyone.

Great app

Seems great however adding name brand foods would help in meal planning & shopping.

Amazing

This app is one of my favorites! As others have already said, you dont have to type in every single thing you eat. Some people are complaining about which foods the plan tells them to eat but honestly, isnt that part of a DIET PLAN? Sure, I would rather not eat vegetables all the time but I would rather be fit so therefore I do. You are able to pick which activity level you are at so even though you cant log your exercise routines the app still modifies your meal plan. Plus, health is not rocket science...burn more than you consume and you will lose weight. -A REAL person who does not work for intelli-diet

Needs recipes or more options

Should have options for vegetables that you like but dont have. If I go somewhere for breakfast I would like to have a veggie or fruit not in my own kitchen. Also, it needs some foods that can be combined for a recipe. One slice of bread, an egg, and an apple doesnt really go together. Other than that, seems like it will work to keep me on track. I have to go food shopping.

Weird ... Creativity Required

Two stars for creativity, both the app developers & my own, as creativity is required in order to make this app work. "Meal" suggestions are weird & limited. Its random foods in a list & they dont necessarily make a rational meal. Lunch today: carrots, flaxseeds, almonds, beans, half a potato. I love cooking so I can work with this - bean/carrot medley on half a baked potato & maybe a sauce made with almond butter & flaxmeal? Kind of Yum ... A little weird but see w.t.f. I mean about creativity? Realistically I am busy so Im shoveling a spoon of flax down my throat & eating raw carrots as I work, plain beans & potato as the real "meal" (missing my earth balance but I dont really need it). I like the concept, I just think they need more foods. I like that it makes me strict about what I eat, limits portions & chooses some of what I eat. At least I am not stuck with meat suggestions. The app reads a particular food as "dinner" and therefore your tofu doesnt become a breakfast protein option - so sad since tofu scramble is my favorite post-gym b-fast, besides a soy protein shake (no protein powder option either). Heres my solution - lots of self-imposed substitutions. Id love to have a "substitutions" option or more options for people who dont eat wheat. There is a bug that doesnt recognize oatmeal as a breakfast food so I kept in cereal & just use oatmeal as my cereal. I kept a lot of the foods in (like 1% milk & yogurt) & I just substitute coconut milk, soy yogurt, etc. Extremely limited protein & carb options, but Im working with it. I think what this app does is say "screw YOUR eating restrictions, eat what WE think is healthy," which means no "specialty" diets ... Hopefully you dont have any health or religious restrictions and dont mind eating weird food combinations (rather than standard meals). Honestly - if you are able to actually follow this - its so weird youll probably lose weight by default.

Interesting Approach, Needs Work!

I hoped this might offer a useful guideline for healthy eating. As other reviewers have mentioned, the program has a VERY restricted list of foods and offers recommendations that dont add up to what most of us think of as real meals. For free or for 99 cents this might be an interesting option to try for a while, but at $4.99 it is a total rip-off! I wanted to like it, but it is nearly unusable.
